Naturopath & Crohn's carer
Hi, I'm Kate.
I'm a qualified naturopath — and, just as importantly, I'm a mum and a partner who has lived alongside Crohn's disease for a long time. My son lives with Crohn's and is now in deep remission. My husband also has Crohn's; he had three operations when he was younger, and he's been in remission for more than twenty years.
Those two experiences — the professional training and the years of caring for the people I love most — are why The Crohn's Method exists.
What I actually do
I help people living with Crohn's, and the families who care for them, with the everyday side of the condition: nutrition during and between flares, gentle movement, managing stress and fatigue, navigating appointments, and not feeling so alone in it. I share what I've learned as a naturopath and as a carer in plain, practical language.
The message I care about most
If Crohn's or IBD runs in your family and you have children, please don't wait. Talk to your doctor about screening early — even from around age 10 — with simple checks like blood tests and a faecal calprotectin test. Catching things early changes everything, and it's the kind of step I wish more families knew to ask about.
Where to find more
I share free guidance every week across my newsletter, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. If you'd like more support, there's a community and coaching too.
